Flower/Planter Contest
Flower and Planter Contest
- The Fair invites county youth development and adult civic or other organizations to help dress up the grounds during the Oconto County Fair by participating in the annual Flower Planter Contest. This year our logo is “America’s Heartland 85 years of Fair 250 years of Freedom”.
Please follow a patriotic theme.
To participate, a group needs to pre-register by June 9, 2026 at ocontocountyyouthfair.org. Your club designs and plants the planter, delivers the completed planter to the fair the Wednesday of the fair between 1pm and 8pm.
Please come to the fair office for placement instructions. Planters not in an assigned area will not be judged. All planters need to be removed by Monday August 31st, 2026.
A panel of judges evaluates the planters during the Fair and cash prizes will be awarded.
