OFFICIAL RULES

  1. An entry fee of $15.00 will be charged.
  2. Tractors may be entered in the classes as published.
  3. Only Open Farm Class tractors will be allowed to pull in a maximum of two classes. 
  4. The contest is open to farm tractors with farm service tires.
  5. In two-wheel classes, four-wheel drive tractors will be allowed provided that the power shaft is visibly disconnected. 
  6. Weight includes the driver. Shifting of weights from one end of the tractor is allowed, but only during the first fifty feet of the pull.
  7. All turbos must be mounted under the hood and no curved exhaust pipes are allowed on turbo tractors, unless an original equipment muffler is used. No
    add-on turbo’s are allowed in the 4,000 lb. class.
  8. Weights
    1. Front weights must be mounted no farther than 24 inches beyond the front casting of the tractor.
    2. Weights must be securely fastened.
    3. Puller will be DISQUALIFIED if any weights fall off the tractor during their pull, or while hooked to the eliminator.
  9. Drawbar height must be between a maximum of 20 inches, and a minimum of 18 inches from the center of the rear axle. Three point hitches will be allowed as long as stabilizer bars are used to hold the drawbar from raising and lowering.
  10. No duals, tire chains or front cut tires are permitted.
  11. Numbers will be drawn to determine the pulling order of contestants.
  12. The minimum age to participate is 14 years. All minors must have written permission from their parents or legal guardian to enter. Minors ages 14 thru
    16 must have completed the tractor safety course and must present a safety course certificate at weigh-in.
  13. Any consumption of alcoholic beverages before or during the pull will be grounds for disqualification.
  14. Drivers are not allowed to slip the clutch during their pull to allow the tractor to regain RPM’s.
  15. Any driver leaving their seat while pulling or touching the boundary markers will be disqualified.
  16. Drivers are responsible for themselves and their machines and they agree to abide by these rules and the judges’ decisions.
  17. Judges reserve the right to reject, redirect, reclassify, and/or disqualify any contestant.
  18. All decisions by the judges are binding and final.
  19. In entering the contest drivers agree to abide by these rules and decisions of the judges.
  20. Fenders are required on all tractors.
